First day of school can be somewhat over powering especially when you are a freshmen. Sunray High School tries to help freshmen have a first great day. Every year the freshmen are invited to a pool party at Treasure Island, so that they can have an evening of eating, swimming, and meeting their teachers. The food is provided by FFA and FCCLA. FFA grills hamburgers for everyone whereas FCCLA provides all the fixing for these hamburgers. Leann Holloway is sponsor for FCCLA and Alfredo Rodriguez is the sponsor for FFA. A great time is had by everyone and what a great way to begin a new school year.
