Season of Caring

Pat Armstrong Curriculum, Federal/Special Programs

The Thanksgiving Holidays with the “Turkey dinner”, mad shopping sprees and football marathons are over. Counting down days to Christmas and the New Year has begun for students, teachers, parents and community members. We are most fortunate to live in Sunray. Sunray is a community where the citizens are family and not strangers. We celebrate each others joys, support one another in times of struggle, and give a helping hand to those in need. When counting my blessings, I include being a part of the Sunray family.

This is a season of joy, giving and sharing of our hearts, minds, and talents with our family and friends. It’s a time of helping those in need of a hand up. I would encourage all to be on the lookout for someone who needs a hand up and extend your hand.
