FCCLA Week 2007
February 12 – 16
Judy Stewart

A special week is coming up in February for one of our high school organizations—FCCLA Week.  This is a time where FCCLA chapters focus on promoting their organizations, showcasing the SHS chapter , and planning activities to better the families, careers, and communities.  The FCCLA sponsor, Mary Ann Ely, and chapter officers have planned several activities to accomplish the purpose of FCCLA Week at Sunray High School.  When I write articles or send out calendars, so many of you ask me what FCCLA is.  Since February is the month where FCCLA chapters across the state and nation celebrate their organization, I decided to give you’re an overview of that organization, its mission, purposes, and program emphasis. I found this information on the Texas FCCLA website and wanted to share it with you in this month’s Paw Print.             ( www.texasfccla.org)
