The elementary is almost back to normal from all of the illnesses going around the school.  It is a good thing because November is a very busy month for the elementary. 

UIL Ready Writing and Creative Writing is being held on Monday, November 2.  We will compete in other UIL events on Friday, November 13 at Borger at Frank Phillips College.  It will be a busy two weeks as the UIL coaches play catch up from the time missed from illness. 

The elementary will have a very special Veteran's Day Program for the men and women in the community who have served in the armed forces.  The program will start at 9 a.m. and will last until 11 a.m.  Please RSVP Dawn so we can have an accurate number on the veterans for lunch.  A chili and stew lunch will be provided for the veterans and their spouses at the Church of Christ right after the program.  All of the elementary students will be involved in the program.  If you know of even veterans please encourage them to attend our program and please let us know so we can send an invitation.
