Sunray ISD wants to extend a warm welcome to our new faculty and staff members. Meet the Teacher will be on Wednesday, August 17^th from 1 PM – 4 PM. Middle School and High School class schedules will be available during the same time period.

Sunray Elementary School is welcoming two new additions to their staff. Mrs. Shianne Andujo will be teaching 3^rd grade this year and Mrs. Wathen will be working with our Elementary English Language Learners.

Sunray Middle School welcomes three new staff members. Ms. Jessica King will be teaching 7/8 Science. Mrs. JJ Haberthur will be teaching 5/6 English Language Arts and Social Studies. Mrs. Melanie Smith will be working with our Life Skills students.

Sunray High School is excited about their new staff members. Mrs. Liliana Alvarez will be our new Spanish teacher. Mrs. Emily Armer will be teaching Social Studies. Coach Kiefer Dutton will be working with our athletes and teaching Social Studies. Coach Kurt Haberthur will be working with all of our athletes and teaching PE. Ms. Rebekah Howard will be teaching English and working with our girl athletes. Our new Band Director for the district is Ms. Nicole Shanks.
