Spring is a Busy Time of Year

As the weather has been so nice the past few days, it has become apparent that Spring is just around the corner and with it comes lots of activities for our students and our schools. Spring is full of events for all of the different organizations at the high school and a few at the middle school such activities in clude such things as Athletices, UIL Literary Contest, One-Act Play, FFA and FCCLA just to name a few. Also, the Spring is a time for most of the testing that is required for us by the state of Texas. As Spring gets in full gear, it also begins to stay light longer so kids like to stay out and play and also Little League and other warm weather activities start to be the norm for after school and evenings hours. Therefore, I want to encourage us as parents to make sure that our children have an opportunity to have some fun, but that they also continue to work on their classes and studies so that they can be successful academically this Spring as well. Before we know it, June will be here and it will be summertime, so let's work together to make this a great Spring for everyone.
